I Can Rely on You, Lord
Jeremiah 10:10-13 (NKJV) But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath
the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure His indignation. He has made the earth by His power, He has established the world
by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens at His discretion. When He utters His voice, there is a multitude of water in the heavens: and He
causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, He brings the wind out of His treasuries.
God—the true, living God—has many attributes. Among them are the attributes of being eternal, without beginning or end.
He is infinitely powerful and absolutely pure and His judgments are righteous beyond question. He is the creator of all that exists, the architect of
the universe, and nothing takes place without His knowledge or direction. He is in full control of all events, and all events lead to the eventual
fulfillment of His plan for His everlasting kingdom of peace. He is the Majesty on high. He directs our ways, and throughout all the struggles of life,
we can rely on the One who has called us to salvation in Christ. Let us rejoice in His unmerited grace.
Jeremiah 10:23-24 (NKJV) O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own
steps; O Lord, correct me, but with justice; not in Your anger, lest You bring me to nothing.
